I give, my turn to talk about politics.

I understand what you are saying but I very much have to disagree. Recently, where I live several politicians, lawyers and doctors were caught on film with several “stripers” acting as their caddies on a golf course, along with plenty of alcohol and "bad behavior". None of them have been prosecuted or even chastised except by the media. I think what the politicians have done, is make this kind of behavior more acceptable. They have lowered the bar for acceptable behavior and are regressing our culture. I do not want these people thinking that they can act this way, but if they see other getting away with it, perhaps that suggests in some way it might be acceptable.

A politicians actions do have repercussions (period). I would not act like nor would I want my family or friends to act in the way some of our politicians do. These are our problems because politicians are elected, whether you like it or not, to represent our country both politically and morally, and at a minimum people are not supposed to act this way.
