AMD is claiming late Q4 shipments but anyone who knows the industry can read through that and see that they don't have a manufacturable product now, so how can they be sure they will by the end of the quarter? EP

Dan , re. few rational people... compete with Intel They said the same thing of Hayes , the company that set the standards for all modems back in the 80s , the company is now bankrupt . They also said the same about IBM in the 80s , its stock was demolished in the early 90s . A few more could be added to the list no doubt. If these really believed this hogwash then they wouldn't be over here on the AMD thread trying to defend Intel . The fact that they are here shows their concern , Brian
