However, most people assume when someone resorts to the type of condescending quips you do, that it is because they have no real substance with which to address the subject at hand. ________ ________ It was never my intention, and you and I have gone back and forth on this idea on more than on occasion. I again offer up to you my sincerest apology. Please forgive me. I was in fact attempting to be quite jovial in my last response to you, there was not a hint of malice in my heart towards you, and there never has been. I knew from your post questioning me as to the validity of God's word, concerning the authorship of Esther, that you thought I would have something negative to say about it. Your post spoke for itself. And again here in your most recent post to me you use language and terminology that is of no benefit at all to anyone. You are constantly putting words in my mouth, and in the mouth of others, who are followers of Christ and His teachings. I have tolerated that aspect of your character from the beginning, and inspite of it I have continued to converse with you in a light-hearted manner. I am a very understanding, compassionate, and tolerant human being. I always try to remember that we are just that...human, and sometimes we all are guilty of trying to find faults in another, God knows they are there. As I get older and more mature though I realize that Life is O so short, and we can make this a better world just by trying to see others as we would have them see us....In a Good Light.! So in everyday communications with all walks of life, I don't let the little stuff burden me. I get beyond it and try to look deeper into the soul of whom I am talking with. There are many wonderful souls out there Mark, and they reside in some of the most unlikely flesh bodies. And you know what the irony is Mark, even the possessors of some of those souls may not even be aware of it....But just a smile from a stranger, or a word of encouragement, or just a word in honest jest, can cause that soul to light up...even for just a short minute....or it can make their entire day bright. There is one thing though Mark, that I will not relent on, nor compromise, and that is the most Holy word of God. Every word of God is life to those who hear it. And I don't apologize to anyone for the good news of the gospel of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ. And I must admit Mark, it sure would be real nice to please all men, all the time, but all men are not pleased (to say the least) when the word of is God spoken of, and so I cannot ever delude myself into thinking that I will ever please all men. But in the end it is really only God that matters anyway. My love for Him and what He means to me will never be shaken, no matter what any man might say of me ,and as you put it,what most people assume. I am not perfect Mark...farrrrr from it, but I know one thing is for sure, Jesus the Christ died for me, and I try my darndest to live for Him. Again, forgive me Mark for my failings in this cyber-space relationship with you. Wish we could get together over a cup of coffee...in a real Coffee shop. Maybe someday we will.
