This is now a *confirmed* Microsoft internal document. They have obviously started to serious evaluate Linux as a real competitor. This almost seems similar to the perspective on the Internet several years ago.

It's interesting how Bill & Company almost seem to start believing their own FUD. I don't mean this in an attacking way, but I truly believe that Bill and the executive management have mis-read a number of global events because they talk a good story ... and many of the employees forget that this is marketing ... not substance. It's easy to start becoming complacent ...
