Fred, If I'm not mistaken Baron's is a from advertisement for profit paper. So you won't get far with them. Try I.B.D. I believe they are subscriber supported therefore not afraid to call a rotten apple a rotten apple. People all this moaning and groaning here is not getting us anywhere. Datek has quit monitoring or at least responding to people here. If you want to make a difference you need to get your message of horrible service to a larger audience than here, put your heads together you'll catch on to what I'm talking about. I personally have 5 different accounts from full service Schwab (top end) to no service Datek (low end) each has its use. However I do agree Datek has problems that could be addressed if they were serious about being a long term player. Having lost the availability of shorts that they used to have that others didn't may be the final straw in the Datek camel's back. To me it looks like the idea of founders having made their gains and turned their back looks very probable! Happy Trading Stan
