Not even close to being an expert Larry, a contributor to the thread is all I am or at least attempt to be. As for Micron I.S. it's got a good reputation from what I've heard. I keep their site in my bookmarks as a reference and information source. The 3 mile limit is basic to ADSL or I should say...basic to copper. It's usually stated in feet, 12,000' or 15,000' is more common. On the Aware web site and others it explains the distance limitation. Should you want, I'll provide you with a link.
