Gregor

Is that an example of what your believe to be the spirit of Chrisitanity? I have read Darrin's posts, and he has been nothing, if not unbelievably polite and respectful of everyone's feelings and thoughts. For you to jump on him like this is a wonderful example of your spirit, IMO.

Gregor,

As I said before, if I am at odds with the purpose of this board, whether I believe so or not, I am gone. Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Peace,
Darrin

Heavenly Father:
While debate rages in this world over whether we are little God's, we know that we are merely created beings. When you so choose to use us we are but the empty vessel. There are those that say you live in a house of sin, and deny your holiness. There are those that say, to live in your grace is to merely accept the grace and love that has been been in existence in the universe from the beginning. But I know that grace was WON at the cross. Grace was forged out of a tree that was carved into the image that Christians the world over will never deny but yet so many deny the work of redemption that was done there.

There are those that deny the work of salvation done at the cross. There are those that deny the inerrancy and canonicity of the bible and would have us believe "other earthly masters" who "also" have been given revelation to write their own bibles.

There are those that doubt the science, the history, the archaeology, and the prophecy of the bible. We have a choice this day . We must accept or reject your word and in so doing reject or accept Christ.

Father I believe in YOUR absolute attributes and I believe in YOUR comparative attributes. Help those that do not understand what is going on here to see what is happening. Help them to see that while we compare to you in that we also have a measure of power or presence or ability or knowledge that we DO NOT then have within us your absolute attributes of holiness, or love, or goodness.

But while the war rages on the young and innocent and lost, and down trodden are forgotten. The sick, the ill are forgotten. Bring them to rememberance and especially Brooke who is fighting for her life, again. Her lost parents. Her lost grandfather. Remember them Father and touch them all in Jesus name. Amen.

Gregor,

I greatly respect the work and intent of this thread. The Lord's hand is upon what is being done here by His grace in answer to fervent, effectual, prayer.
I recognized a spirit that was being welcomed into a place of God's work untested. As such I believed that it should be challenged as God has directed us to do in His word. The intent of that spirit I believe is evident to all here that know God's word. What ever is not of God is of the devil and he has no place or authority over God's servants.
If I have offended any here by what I said I cannot apologize as I believe I was responding as the Lord would so direct, from His word.
Gregor, if you believe I have offended the sanctity of this place please accept my most humble apology. I recognized an evil entering in with subtlety into what is indeed a place of God's blessings and knew that it must be challenged.
In Christ,
John
