Americans will accept anything given to them if it is spun into a trendy utterly shallow but pseudo-sophisticated package. "The American people" is a term Clinton and Democrats use with each exhale because they know if you tell dumb Americans what they think, then dumb Americans are going to think it. In an age when the average American has no idea what the word "Antietam" refers to, it presents to us no great wonder why the tactic works so well. It has been used to successfully put a "Penis" in the White House (twice), to put a "Body" in the governorship, and to suck out thousands of babies' brains for the trash. Americans will accept anything, and I mean anything. The leftists understand this. Republicans do not.
