Sean, since you're obviously skilled at writing code, I don't think you realize how complex the QP2 scan function is for the lay person. I never had any trouble writing Metastock formulas or QP1 scans

If you can write QP1 you can write QP2. If you can write QP1 and TC2000 is so easy why do you need any assistance. RTFM.

There is no interface to enable non-programmers to write scans. For some reason, when Gary decided to replace QP1 with QP2, he decided to exclude those of us who prefer ease of use to complete and total versatility.

There wasn't in R1 either. Both require writing code. the syntax of the code may be slightly different but both still require code.

For some reason, when Gary decided to replace QP1 with QP2, he decided to exclude those of us who prefer ease of use to complete and total versatility.

I find everything about Qp2 easier than Qp1. Data downloading, writing scans, exporting MS. Different maybe but not harder? Whats harder to use in your opinion?

Gary knows my feelings from the QP board. Do you think he's going to maintain a QP1 datafeed just for me?
No but he could explain in detail why he has to make choices like this and answer some of unfounded acusations.

. That's why I'm asking these questions. Instead of ridiculing me for daring to evaluate TC2000, maybe you could just help me out.

I evaled and am aware of the features/limitations. Why not read the manual. you said you can write Qp1 scans. If you can , then you can certainly write tc2000 scans. Your original rant was that you couldn't get your scans running and didn't want to spend time. Numerous people including myself offered to help and ported a scan for you and welcomed more. If you motivation was truely time then you would be working by now but instead there is an alternative motive/grudge here that is making you take the hard way out. Maybe you can explain what this is since you have already contradicted your original complaint.
