I would hope that my thoughts on RMIL are well known by now. From day one, I have seen RMIL as nothing but irrational speculation in an impossible situation. Initially, the attitude of the "cartel" was nearly cult-like. No sensible contrary opinions were even considered. All of us were part of a world-wide conspiracy against poor little OVIS. The talk was of 200-300 per share. The plans for the millions were being laid. I was convinced that OVIS was a pump-and dump scam, and that the squeeze was pure nonsense (if not a swindle).

Never-the-less, because I know my own limitations I choose to buy a small number of OVIS. Sort of an insurance policy against any arrogance in my evaluation of this company.

Needless to say, I have been correct all along. From my initial observation that the squeeze hype was irrational, to my prediction that trading would not have resumed by the end of the 1998 (go back and read my postings in Jan - Apr regarding resumption of trading). In fact, I have only been wrong on one point regarding RMIL/OVIS. That at the onset, I thought there might be a small possibility that I might have been incorrect in my assessment. That mistake cost me $1000. Nothing to lose sleep over for sure.
