TED,

The fully automated FBN-SubjectMarker works well, perhaps, too well. During the last clubhouse celebration it was a huge hit. One exuberant participant who shall remain nameless, had to be wrestled to the floor (we really should cut down on the nude table dancing stuff, I'm just getting use to the under the table stuff, umm, oh, oh yea, where was I?) when the lampshade worn by the unnamed participant clicked off the bookmark rate governor. Well, without the governor, that thing really screams. By the time I was able to wrest control of the SubjectMarker it was too late. It looks like SI has a (2**31) +1 problem. It seems that numbers greater then this are interpreted as negative numbers. Once Brad upgrades to a 64-bit machine we should appear in our rightful place on the list (the top) assuming the sign extension during conversion doesn't skew us.

Tom

ps: Did you know that 2015 is 11111011111 in binary.

Testing? I was supposed to test it?

But I haven't finished writing it yet. It's about 90% done, should only be another couple of days, a week tops.

Um, did you finish the spec yet? I had a couple of questions about the rate governor module.

Also, do you think PL/1 is really the best language to write this in? I could probably re-write the whole thing in C++ or maybe Java real quick, it would be a good learning exercise for me, I have the manuals right here. I bet it would only add a day or two to the project. A week tops.
