CPU...up? It boggles the imagination!

CPU was up over 6% today and announced a grand opening of another superstore in San Rafael CA.

I visited the store today (they were already doing business and fine tuning before the big opening tomorrow) and spoke to the assistant manger (the GM was not in, but I'll speak with him eventually).

I said that they should basically give it up right now and close shop because the stock is sure to go to zero. How can a company like CompUSA possibly survive the upcoming Y2K/deflation/world panic/U.S depression crisis? In fact, why weren't CompUSA executives in the process of liquidating assets and investing the proceeds in TAVA and ZITL? And damnit, would you tell those employees to stop taking so many damn smoke breaks!!

However, being the masochist that I am, I bought more CPU today at 14 11/16 and 15 9/16.
