You're right, jbe, name-calling isn't "typically Democrat". However, it is typical of Schuh. Even in victory, his song remains the same: Every post is bitter, cynical, and full of negative aggression.

But of course, he's not the only one. It is true that Democrats frequently return to negative themes. The vicious and ludicrous Democratic smear of Republicans in St. Louis was not that surprising. The same theme is carried on this thread by numberous posters: Anyone opposing a Democratic plank is a "right wing hater", on the verge of blowing up a building.

There are wackos and psychotics on both extremes that are outside the realm of normality, like the Unibomber and Timothy McVeigh.
