Is this what you are so proud of? What an accomplishment.

A new sheriff in town? Fans of the Silicon Investor stock-talk site are mourning the upcoming departure of Jill McKinney, the "webmistress" charged with keeping order on the site's intense -- and often nasty -- message boards. For the past two years, Ms. McKinney has policed discussions, ferreting out vulgarities, insults and cases of outright harassment. Offenders are temporarily banned from the message boards and sent packing to what's known as "Jill Jail."

Now Ms. McKinney, 27 years old, is gradually phasing out her patrol
work to handle public-relations duties for Silicon Investor's parent,
Go2net Inc. of Seattle. And she is leaving a wake of morose cyber-chatters. Even those Ms. McKinney has punished were taken aback to learn she won't be patrolling their conversations. "She knows me, she knows my attitude, she knows I'm arrogant," laments Scott Wilding, a temperamental Miami investor who admits he's been booted off message boards by Ms. McKinney several times. "It was just her way of saying 'Chill out.' "
