I think a few of the big names must be on institutional program trading lists. Also, shorts have been smashed so badly across the board that they have to be gunshy, even here. De-couplings always seem to be temporary.

And if there were something on the horizon we couldn't see, such as a crisis with Iraq, crude would skyrocket a lot faster than OS stocks. (Hmmm, if we couldn't see it yet, wouldn't it have to be "off" the horizon? <g>)

Now, if we could just decouple earnings from the price of oil, these stocks would really take off!
