If we are in a blowoff top of the Dow,couldn't that also suggest that it might be the time to start moving into precious(ha ha ha) metals?
Also since the banks are probably under scrutiny now for lending to hedge funds,won't we see another form of distortion beginning in the markets ..ie some funds must have kept the governments sort of honest(ha ha ha) but now maybe some big game players are out of that now and exurberance can now take over big time?
I guess the question is the USA headed for a recession with the valuations of the Dow at this incredible prices?
Are the lowering of interest rates going to prevent a recession?
How far away is Japan's recovery and how many worms are left to be uncovered in their banking and pensions?
It just looks like a pandora's box to me..that has been opened
ps won't we start seeing more social programs initiated by the Clinton adminstration etc and possibly in Britain etc..more spending
