>>Because you have contradicated yourself at least twice which then makes me wonder why I'm wasting my time with someone who's not being completely honest with me...<<

>>I find everything about Qp2 easier than Qp1. Data downloading, writing scans, exporting MS. Different maybe but not harder? Whats harder to use in your opinion?<<

OK, let's talk about honesty. Let's see how much easier it is to write a scan in QP2.

Say I've just written a scan, and now I'd like to modify it to see how it runs over the last three days' data instead of just today's data.

QP1: I'll insert at the beginning of the scan "Loop(0,-2)".
Ouch, that was difficult. And I know it's right.

QP2: First, I'll specify "integer i;"
Then I'll edit my scan and replace every zero with an i.
Then I'll write "for i = -2 to 0 do"
At the end of the scan I'll insert "next i;"
That should work, I think, but now I'm going to get some symbols listed 3 times, which of course never happened in QP1. To eliminate duplications:

I have to set a "flag:=0;"
and at the end of the scan, but before the "next i;"
I must insert "flag=1"

Now if I did this correctly, of which I'm not certain, it should produce the same results at the QP1 scan.

Now Sean, are you really being completely honest when you say that it's easier to write a scan in QP2 than it is in QP1? And the funny thing is, I could have never figured this out without your help.
