Milestones....

Scott, I think the reason DRIV plunged today had to do with that CNET article you just posted. Either that, or DRIV just sold off for technical reasons (12 is resistance).

It would make sense for AMZN to approach or outright buy DRIV. It took DRIV 3 years to build these relationships with software publishers and retailers. There has been a rumor that AMZN is considering buying software.net (BYND).

I am hoping for the following milestones, in order:

1. DRIV library reaches some critical mass level, let says 200K titles, objects and fonts, or lets say 50K software titles.

2. DRIV strikes up agreement with a major software publisher like MSFT, INTU or Adobe.

3. DRIV allies with a major Internet portal company like YHOO, snap.com or NSCP.

4. DRIV makes inroads in software bulk sales, seat pricing and licensing.

5. DRIV rents space on broad bandwidth system such as offered by GBLX or LVLT or QWST. DRIV then capable of ESD of large size software packages like enterprise-level software. GBLX has completed a broad bandwidth system connecitong England, northern Europe, and New York.

6. DRIV has a blowout qurater, lets say doubles revenues sequentially in Q4.

Anyone of these developments would be big. If I had to predict, I would say that DRIV is going to make an announcement about MSFT within the next 3 months.

Even if DRIV doesn't sign on AMZN (which I hope they do), the market is so huge and expanding (e-commerce software sales) that there will be many big winners.
