Darrin, welcome to the thread. Your abilities to look inward is very refreshing and I compliment you on your insights. Many are frightened at modern psychology and a look at the dark side of our nature. If Jesus attempted to teach the people of His age the insights that we have, they would not have understood. However, superstition has always played a big part when we attempt to pin the boogie man down. There is always disagreement on what our Lord is saying to us in His Word but spiritual growth by conquering the self or ego is what Jesus is trying to tell us. (Many times we listen but do not hear.) Peace to you also, Santiago
