Excellent point...forgot to mention it...the rule is 31 days in Canada...so make sure you sell by Nov 27 (remember 3 day settlement) then repurchase Dec 28 (3day settlement works to your advantage here) the Chief

I, too, am fed up to the teeth with Investors Edge...For three long long hours this morning, I couldn't even place an order online..Their system was temporarily down, temporary!!! three hours. They cost me money and I'm paying them for that... It's so damn stupid, even when I place an order, I can only change or cancel buy orders, I have to phone them to change or cancel a sell order..Why am I putting up with this, I'm trying to trade online with one hand (figuratively speaking) tied behind my back..And guess who tied it, yip, thats right the very same people I pay commissions to every day. And the phone is not much better, by the time I get though the automated system and reach a trader, I'm out of the game..kaput, nada, zilch... I have already contacted ETrade, I don't intend to put up with this s--t anymore. I feel much better now..thanks.. ze gypsy
