bb,

I also believe the top is in for the bonds and all I need to do is stay short. I may take some heat in the bonds over the next few days, but I've got a great profit cushion and can sit through any rally the bonds might muster.

There are too many bond holders that are waiting for a bounce so they can dump their fixed rate holdings and get back into stocks, probably the very same people that sold their stocks 1,000 points lower to buy bonds at the top of the bond market.

I'll tell ya, this whole thing is like a big revolving door, a dog chasing its tail. Ya gotta love it...

Later...

BB - This may be the big bull kahuna and this bull move could approach insanity. And why not?, it is engineered, welcomed and encouraged by the doctor feelgood AG and RR pump&hype team. Jesse Ventura, who gained prominence in a make believe sport, probably epitomizes this state of mind. When reality do set in, then there will be some slam dunks, maybe. Perhaps those Viking folks are telling us something - that life, after all, is just a dream.

Have you seen the latest marketing strategy for selling PC's? The big push will be on color and shape, good for decoration or keeping up with the Joneses. I know several people who bought PC's because many around them have one. They bought a $2,000 PC and spent $5,000 for desk+chair to put it on, and use it 1 hour a week. Makes the house look sophisticated.
