Good point, and I haven't heard this mentioned yet. The last time this happened with GERN, the technology was hyped as the "fountain of youth". It gave hope that we could all rejuvenate through cell replacement.

You know what they say, "if it sounds to good to be true... "

I haven't read the aging piece, but stem cell tech has a future. I only saw the NBC segment and GERN wasn't mentioned, but the major hype was there. As in all cure-all biotechs-roll the dice and get out when the going's good.
