Sorry for the late response Elwood. Yes, some years ago they sold it to a buyout firm called Clayton, Dubillier, and Rice. They eventually took it public. They make 1200 dpi lasers that are nice machines. Not too many folks seem to know about them even today, everyone thinks HWP for printers, but Lexmark had things like the 1200 dpi feature years before HWP. IBM since then has gotten back into the network printer business, but I've read that they now want to sell the entire printer division, along with the IBM Global Network, which has been in the news for some time now.
