Jenna, How did you learn to do what you do to be a trader? And what books would you recommend?

My goal is to be a full time trader. Doing this is a dream come true, but I've got to make it work better. I had a huge loss on a stock named Resource America(REXI). Maybe you saw the write up on it in IBD back in late August. I should have sold out much sooner than I did, but you know when something that seems unwarranted is happening to a stock, you feel it will turn back. And there was hardly any news the first day of its "demise". You feel that if you sell out, you will miss that turn. That incident increased my fear factor tremendously. I have done better since signing up with the newsletter, but I am still so afraid to get into things after REXI. And all these stocks are going up around me and I am missing the train (as Joe Kernen says).

I get the watchlist and sometimes I am not quite sure where to start. I would not feel comfortable just jumping into something. I look alot of places for information on them first, and have to get comfortable before buying into one. But then I did that with REXI too. Well enough on me.

Thanks for any information.
