(snip) ...Gearhart said. He explained that ''more
specific cells could become transplant therapies for
diabetes, spinal cord injury, neurodegenerative disorders
like Parkinson's disease, muscular dystrophies,
atherosclerosis and wound healing.''(snip)

Holy grail indeed...though some might say sacrilege,
hehe. I would imagine they'll be growing simple things
for a decade, growing nerves and organs sounds like science
fiction. Of course in a lifetime science fiction can become
reality.

I'm sure a lot of folks will make money on the volatility
tommorrow. I myself have followed Mr. Harmon into a few
stocks, and Biotransplant comes to mind in this situation.
(I'm not ashamed to get a little plug in there while I'm here).
My hope would be that if science can start to grow interesting
things from stem cells, than solving rejection problems for
porcine organs is child's play a decade from now...and BTRN
or some company like it wins the race.

Just some thoughts, hope nobody on the thread takes offense
at my intrusion--I am sure owners of GERN will do great
Friday...heck, if I'd been monitoring the daytrader threads
yesterday I'd have bought some too.

happy trading,
MM
