Probably because the officers all needed to dump shares again, like they did the last time they hyped the stock (Januury 13 and 14, 1998).

If you doubt me, check the Federal 144 filings.

These guys are some of the best traders I've ever seen.

Specifically in human stem cells?.......... anything that is not lineage-specific (i.e., makes only a given tissue such as muscle) probably will bounce up against the GERN patent estate. There are good plays on porcine (pig) pluripotent stem cells, very good plays. Pigs are a likely source of organs (kidneys, etc.) for future transplants.

There is a company that specializes in mesenchymal (human) stem cells. I'm trying to remember the name of it. If I find it, I'll report back before the open tomorrow. Not really relevant, IMO, but with this freaking circus, it certainly couldn't lose one much more than commisions. ;-)

BTW..... for those that feel that this is a new observation...... please note that this post was made in October, but October *1997*........
