JRobinson,

>>>Be aware we may also be running up solely because earnings are to be released next week and we may sell off on the news. The volume will tell the story. If it's light, that's OK. Heavy ...somebody may know something we won't find out til later.<<<

Wouldn't you consider the volume we've had already heavy? Are you talking about volume after earnings announcement?

One thought I have had about the volume and price increasing in the last 2 weeks is Kealy and some other have been out pitching the stock to brokerage houses and analysts. Some of them may be ready to come out with buys, and they are letting the big clients in early on their recommendations. Hence they are buying in large quantities, but we have no news. The news will come out later for the small investor. (This was a common practice when I worked at Merrill Lynch 14 years ago, and imagine it is still done today.) I don't think it's any big secret we are going to exceed estimated earnings. I hope the whisper number is 14cents, and we beat that by a couple cents. That should sustain the rally.

Does anybody know when earnings are to be released? Before, during, or after market hours?

Satch

IFCI may see double digits today

DG online. RS new high is almost always an essential for a good buy point, IMO. I've seen a lot fail. We are on the border of a new RS high. The last two runs were nice runs, but no RS high, and then we drop. If this run can make a new RS high today, then I'd say buy MORE immediately.
