Exactly what the stock is trading for.Columbia is in transition, new gov't,new peace initiative, longest standing democracy in South America,Washington support, could be the next flavour of the month in South America. This is also an Andean find, but at a lower elevation,Kinross has already done their homework ,I suggest you do the same.

The Vancouver Province newspaper reports in its front page story in its
Friday edition that in an amazing move, Norbert Reinhart, head of
Terramundo Drilling, under contract to Greystar Resources, has switched
places with kidnapped employee Edward Leonard, who has held by Colombian
kidnappers. Reporter Adrienne Tanner says Mr. Reinhart's bodyguard snapped
a photo of the exchange on Oct. 6 and Mr. Leonard was set free after three
months in captivity. Mr. Reinhart remains a hostage in Colombian rebel
territory. Mr. Leonard is safely back home with his wife and two children.
He says there is no way to put in words when somebody basically gives their
life for your life. Mr. Leonard was kidnapped a week after he arrived on
site near Bucaramanga, in the middle of rebel territory, in June. He lost
25 pounds in three months even though he ate three solid meals a day. Mr.
Leonard has heard the initial $2-million ransom demand has been dropped to
$500,000. Mr. Reinhart left behind his wife Casey and two daughters: Robin,
six, and Molly, two.

Risky country indeed. But the world is changing. And Kinross has recognized that.
