Brian, you missed my point. The AMD K6-2 does have an L2 cache. Adding a third layer of cache isn't going to help as much as you think.

Uh, yeah. All you did was concentrate on was my parenthetical statement about L1 cache sizes, which I admit wasn't a fair one.
