funny, but on that same note its also important to mention that some of us never EVER will forget what some of the folks on s/i (again, nameless) had shamefully done to new investors with BB stocks, and mass emailings to thousand of investors essentially stealing from people.. Thats what got me so determined to win this game was a bb stocked called GIFS which turned out to be a huge scam, and the beauty of it was a good portion of the responsible people still do the same thing today, only difference being their style since investors and investor resources are getting better and better..

anyhow.. whats on tap for today? Tim its DELL time.. The more I look at the chart, the fundamentals, there is no reason dell cant touch 70 before earnings. Alot of wealth has been made investing in dell even in very difficult times so I guess it should be no surprise that now with all the beaten up stocks appreciating ridiculous amounts each day that money will come out of DELL and MSFT, etc. and move with the herd. DELL is ready to move, and im betting if we open down this morning it will be the last chance to get dELL here for a while.

yesterday was a classic example of why im a poor trader.. I made a good chunk of change in the AM with CD.. 5 minutes, boom boom in and out.. so my ego got running, I dont know WHAT possessed me to buy IOM at 9 1/8 and as soon as I hit the execute button I realized my emotions caught me and I was chasing a stock that has more downside than up.. than Ameritrade took 15 minutes to get my confirmation back so I missed about 10 minutes where I could have gotten back out at break even... sat in that sucker all day and sold at 3:50 for a small loss, but I was up all night trying to figure out how I can control this emotional monster that comes out when you make a nice profit, or take a huge hit..

Jan- I missed out on all the 'Brazil picks' you shared with us. Im still finishing things up at my other job and im still doing single trades so I can react if market conditions change.

--- I love this commercial.. dream house.. its your brokers! heh

Tim,

I jumped into RXSD yesterday at 17+ change figuring to get a quick 1/2 point. I did a little research when you put it out and it looked like a good opportunity. Who figured they'd halt trading a couple minutes later.

No one is responsible for this trade but me. I use the information presented here as a guide and still think, based on what I knew at the time, RXSD was a good play. S**t like this happens sometimes - it is out of our control.

What I've learned over the past few months of active trading is that anyone who claims to make money on every trade is a liar. Research can limit risk but won't eliminate it. We're only playing the odds here and are going to get stung from time to time.

Its very decent of you to post your entry and exit points on si - its a great way to learn. But you are not obligated to do so and are absolutely right in disclaiming responsibility for any one else's trades. Any investor who blindly follows advice is being foolish.

I appreciate what you're doing here Tim. Keep it up.

Jay

BTW - I've only got small position and am still holding. Hoping for a bounce back today.
