You're the voice of reason, and I'm like the Unibomber or Timothy McVeigh. You left out Jeffrey Dahmer.

You're jumping to the wrong conclusion. I was referring to the fact that liberals all too often have leapt to extreme judgements. In fact I was thinking of Marty's recent supposition that I might be ready to go out and blow up a Federal building---an obvious reference to Tim McVeigh, who is obviously a psychotic. Marty also suggested I was a member of the KKK, or a militia member.

That was what I was referring to, and you had nothing to do with it. The "guilt by association", was exactly the type of retoric I was referring to. Granted I indulged in a bit of that myself, when I repeated the news story of the sign saying "Clinton: an Ozark Caligula". However, obviously Caligula is long dead centuries ago, so nobody was suggesting Clinton associates with Caligula. Whereas Marty suggested I was a current member of the KKK. Where did he get the race idea? Nowhere, he simply launched a verbal assault because he lost his temper.
