Anthony

Those were some great funnies, thanks. I remember Keving Keegan from his playing days, I can't believe he is saying such things now<g>

I grew up in Greece until 17 yrs old so the sport is in my blood. I remember QPR, are they in First Division now?

For years here in the US you couldn't watch any games at all. It has gotten much better lately. Every Sunday there is a two hour summary of the week's English Premier league games. Never miss it.

I used to be a fan of Manchester United but my heart is not for them anymore, just too much money and too many stars now. I always liked Leeds Utd. and a team called Wolves (whatever happened to them?).

I still think the Argentina-England game was THE classic game of the World Cup. I certainly would never forget it.

I also watched England's game against Sweden and Bulgaria. They did not look good at all, what's the problem?

Arsenal lost 3-1 in Kiev, what the hell is their problem? Anyway I hope they loose in Athens from Panathinaikos.

This board used to be so much fun during World Cup we are just now trying to revive it.

In Greece I support a little team called Larissa-champions in 1987 and now in 2nd division:(

Thanks for participating

Oh, US National Team would gladly take Hoddle when he resigns from such high pressure from the media. Take it easy on him will you?<g>

George

Welcome to the former mad-house of SI, you should have been here during the WC, as George said, it was a lot of fun, and yes George is trying to revive this board, so you are a welcomed addition.

I will be looking forward to your reports of the English Premier, and others, I am familiar with the passion for Soccer most Englishmen have.

I was at Wembley in 1966 when England defeated W. Germany and became World Champion, always, a sight to witness, same in Mexico City when Brazil took the Jules Rimet in 1970 from Italy.

Now here in the US, witnessing (hopefully), a transformation for the US team, that perhaps with the 21st. Century, they will improve on their Soccer performance.

Anybody knows when & where the Juvenile WC will take place ?

Who is favorite etc. ?

Regards.

z.

p.s. In reviewing your profile, I see you were here during August or so...., in such case, Welcome back.
