ant, at its basest levels i think si is an expression of ego. heck, i can't wait to tell everyone i was right on swtx, genzl, gztc, asis, mwy, trps, mu, ibm, gtw, cmb, amzn, all the low growth large caps with outrageous pes, the economy and whatever else there is. i want to make some bucks, too. many of the above picks were recommendations by mike. some weren't. i wouldn't know genzl from shmenzl if i never logged onto si. hey, maybe that would be a good thing ;-) darn, maybe i better log off for a while ;-) anyway, i'm here to generate ideas, test current ideas, talk a little smack and have some fun. it is cheap entertainment. unlike most people, i pursue truth, not my own biases. at least, i'm aware that their are biases and try my best to mitigate their affects. when it is pointed out to me that i'm wrong i'm happy to hear it. however, there has to be a logical foundation. i was really positive on nfli for a while. i did a great job of trading it long. that is why it went from $20 to $5 and i was still even. until my last trade where i lost a little bit. i reviewed the company and realized that the leaders of the company were raking in about a million a year in salary and shunned the stock. hasta la vista, baby. i don't like managers making millions as the stock heads for the toilet and now i hope they go out of business and their leaders go broke. i had some mighty battles defending nfli management. in the end, my loyalty was misplaced. i'm glad i finally realized it. didn't even mind being wrong. if i didn't despise aohell so much i'd go over there and give the bears kudos for being on the mark way before my dense butt was...
