What's disconcerting is how readily all the market pundits/experts are rationalizing the rise of the last 5 weeks (17.6%). As another post said in essence, any news is good news or at least can be spun to sound like good news. Unreal.

Greenspan's SIA comments at least hinted at no rate cut on the 17th, and it was portrayed that way by the media I heard on Thursday afternoon, but next am before the market open voila! everything's fine and Greenspan's comments were bullish for the market. Gee, do any of these people report the facts anymore or are they just spoofs and point men for the big money and powers that be?
