Graham / Prize Energy

Current Price $0.60

I think Prize is a good investment because of relationship with Canadian 88 Energy - they are one and the same. Greg Noval will assure the company gets off to a good start. You will have noticed that PZI doesn't release much news. The company can be monitored with EEE releases concerning Waterton operations.

One thing I would like to see is some sort of independency related to other areas of operation. That will come in time. Cost of Waterton will be minimal. Once the company gets to a specific level of production, I'm sure Greg will have someone take charge and give the company a direction - a step in becoming self dependent. Until then, the staff at EEE will totally support operations.

It would appear the optimum buying level is in the $0.56-58 range. Being that production is natural gas, the price should remain firm and increase when production revenue commences.

A company of their current status usually carries a very high amount of risk in relation to investment. Normally, one would be buying into questionable properties, reserves and future production guess estimates. That is not the case with their situation. Because personnel have not given attention to company activities (they don't have to because it is automatic with EEE administration), shares have remained low in value.

Yes, I think the shares in Prize offer a good return on investment at this time.

Graham / Personal Choices - Top Five

A few weeks ago, I thought share prices on the following companies
offered a tremendous buying opportunity. They have had a little run
since. I think oil prices will continue to drift in the $13.00 to
$14.00 price range. As a result, there might be short term weakness
in shares of oil producers. Shares of companies which are gas
leveraged would appear close to fully priced.

These are the companies which appear most attractive to me and I would
be looking to buy upon weakness from current share levels.

COMPANY CURRENT OPTIMUM
SHARE ENTRY
PRICE PRICE

Talisman Energy $ 33.80 $ 30.00
Berkley Petroleum $ 11.70 $ 10.00
Probe Exploration $ 3.06 $ 2.80
Genesis Exploration $ 7.30 $ 6.50
Vermilion Resources $ 4.90 $ 4.00

Beginning with the end of the 1st quarter these companies will be
issuing fantastic financial and operating reports. It will be this
period when one can begin to see true growth because the price of oil
and natural gas will be comparable to the same period of a year ago.
Even more so for six month 1999 reports.
