Crude price : Stock prices.

Look at crude's action today at about 10am -- bounced off 13.80 and went vertical to 14.25. Look at OSX action beginning around 10am. OK, I know it doesn't always work that way.

Yes; the dogs are runnin today... Just give 'em plenty of leash .

...unbelieveable; directly into the face of weak fundamentals. Without question; Worldwide Interest rate cuts and liquidity WILL increase demand. Demand is ''the'' Oilpatch's problem - I think the Street believes that the problem has been addressed, but also realizes that the results will be down the road. I think the also realize that one MUST buy the Oilpatch stocks before strong fundamentals are in place; or else - one is not going to be buying them cheap.

The "Story'' here is that the bottom is history, it was defined, we had capitulation, we had a double bottom (for the technicians) and now we will build on cash inflows, cheap valuations compared to where these will be when fundamentals are in place and the absolute necessity of having to buy here & now - if you want to own these ''right''.

To fight the Rate Cuts and perhaps more importantly; to ignore the incredible historic International cooperation and coordination of Financial policy; is to miss an ''event'' imho.

Has anyone focused or thought about where we will be when crude returns to $18 (it will) and when the Japanes/Asian machine is running full throttle (it will) in an enviroment of historically low interest rates ? The plate will be set for record corporate profits... Not tomorrow or even in 6 months, but 18-24 months from now - we could see a Bullish enviroment like no other... it's coming imho. For those buying cheap and holding or trading on the way up; the future is ''so bright - you're going to have to be wearing shades''...<VBG>. These historic Worldwide coordinated Financial moves can not be ignored.

Long and longer...by the minute

Marc; sarcasm does not become you <VBG> .... No one is going to confuse you with being a Bull; A Bear in sheeps clothing perhaps ?
With Iraq on the Radar Screen - short covering alone going into a weekend will move both Crude and the sector; to be short ANYTHING over this weekend is suicidal ... Crude should have been expected to move here. Lets also not forget how much crude can move on short covering alone - manipulation ? $15+ fair value ?
