AMZN can buy BAMM

They can only buy it with stock!!
I doubt if BAMM will accept books and the market for Z rated bonds has dried up over recent weeks.

They could buy them with inflated stock. It's now trading at 1/2 the book value and .14% of sales - compare that the the P/S ratio of Amazongonuttty.com! What has got investors turned off and scared about BAMM is that it is not an Internut darling and their expansion into "super Stores" is seen as risky. Of course, that is what was said about Barnes & Nobels strategy a while back. Now it has been recognized as a smart move that has put mom-an-pop and small chain store operations in jeopardy. Take a look at the margins BAMM and other retailers have been able to achieve: 1.7%. That's typical of the retail industry - razor thin margins because of relentless competition. But Lamie thinks "But Amazon and the Internet is a magical thing that will deliver huge margins and profits and where customers will buy things because they like you and not based on price. Once Amazon has bought up market share they can turn down expenses while raising margins (prices) relative to other retail industries." How dumb-ass can you get - Yea, right Lamie!
