venkie, dell train is about to leave the station and this will be the last chance for anyone to buy. shorts are always loosing on dell and u know that. More shorts better boost we get at the earnings.

some folks... some folks said the dow was going to 6500.

the guy in the white hat says the dow won't peak until it takes out it's old high. any topping here is intermediate

Be careful about the information you are hearing about the Dow....Maybe there is something to it and maybe not..You know that fellow, MR. SUMFOLKS, is very fond of putting out erroneous stuff..

one simple theory for the Dow to go higher is that the money folks didn't begin re-entering the market in earnest until around 8300 to 8600. they missed 700 points due to Greenspan's surprise announcement. since they missed 10%, they're likelihood of selling in earnest is diminished until they retain their lost territory. Sandy Weill mentioned as much in his WSJ interview today "...we missed it a bit". in 95 the brokerage houses were shorting in earnest and losing their shirts; they called 95 "the little people's market".
