Checking XOMA daily, nice run up! You've got to sell V1 on XOMA. Plus, I like to buy things like XOMA before the run up, not during or after. It's almost back to where I sold it at a year ago. XOMA just has got no institutional respect. No analysts cover it and they are just considered to be walking dead until they can finally get a product on the market that will make money. Personally, I believe in the promise of BPI and that it will eventually be a homerun. When is bigger the issue. I'm having more fun shorting stuff like ENMD and GERN's ridiculous unsustainable runups, and buying stuff like AMLN after the overreaction and unsustainable low price. Playing on the overreaction volatility and letting the price gravitate back to the mean.

Bluegreen, why don't you leave these guys alone! Two, have or had, their own own real money in some XOMA. Why in the world would they want to risk play money and the performance of their model portfolio on this company? Seems very clear and understandable to me. I don't think they will ever add XOMA to the model, but so what? These guys, or at least one have seen XOMA up close. This means seeing things one does not like. This is probably true of more companies than one thinks but when one hasn't actually seen the stupid decisions, one is less bothered. You and I and anyone that wants to spend the time and effort to construct a portfolio can do so. Your model can be 100% XOMA, but if it is others will ask why you don't add other stocks.

Seems like something is going on with XOMA but it could be just technical factors. Many other stocks have also moved. True, most of the time there was news behind the moves and so far we are in the dark about what really is moving XOMA, if it is not just technicals.
