My experience regarding companies moving to the TSE is that
there is a small bump up in price, then the stock starts to
fall back. Two stocks that have been halted that were TSE stocks
were AMG and URP. Both are, as far as I know, little more than
shells, if that. Both were diamond stocks. One in the NWT and the other in Africa. It may be easier to get a financing if a stock
is on the TSE and for the houses to unload the stock onto the
suckers because they can say this is a good stock it's on the TSE
but I've seen nothing to indicate that a listing improves a stock's
price. What I've heard many times from companies is that they are
going to list on the TSE and as a result the share price is going
to fly. Never happened.
