Regarding my feelings about the 60,000 subscriber potential, I think that as long as a few Carriers sign on by year end, their marketing push plus GMGC's moderate subscriber growth through the existing resellers should be able to generate those kinds of numbers. I also feel that a national reseller or two will get involved between now and then, and that will help.

If they don't reach break even by next summer they will start to become low in cash reserves. I certainly can't back up my opinion with hard numbers because we don't even know current subscriber numbers or growth rates. However, if I didn't believe they could stop the major cash burn by next summer, I would have a tough time staying invested in this company. I would also tend to agree that the resellers themselves cannot accomplish the task at hand.

This is the challenge, and risk, associated with investing in a new technology like GMGC's Portico. I know you are a aware of this, so I am stating this fact only as a way of justifying my optimism. I just believe that they are at the right place at the right time with the right product. I welcome differing opinions. It helps us all to gather information and adjust our thinking.

Best wishes.

"Why would Bell South get special treatment and be able to get GMGC to limit competition in its area?"

As I understand the speculation Rick, it is that the resellers themselves, having heard of the BellSouth entry for the last 3-4 months, have stayed away in droves rather than get splashed out of the pool when BellSouth jumps in. BWDIK?
