Gee you mean they'll have to wait for earnings like the rest of us?
I thought that was how the game was supposed to be!?

Re: Dells earnings

It seems to me to be a foregone conclusion (Does this seem a little too confident?) that Dell will beat their estimates, like always. The only difference I see between this report and the last couple of reports is that Mr. G is talkin a few days after the earnings report. I seem to remember Alan putting a crimp on the runup just before Dells report a couple of times.

I think we might see the biggest part of the runup after the report and continuing after Greenspan's speech. I have to rethink my strategy of selling some the day before the report and just holdin till the first sign of weakness afterwards. Either way though, I think Dell will be above 100 before Feb. and I'm strapped in for the ROCKET RIDE UP!!!!!!

D.

jhg, that did occur to me.

I actually don't feel this thread determines the whisper number. Therefore, not posting earnings estimates won't affect either the whisper or the stock performance.

We will be talking about this a lot after earnings come out.
