I agree with you. But it will never occur that we have a 'free' country in that regard. Too many people trying to re-create the world in their own image.

And quietly, to Craig Crawford. Craig, we didn't used to have government welfare supporting universal education and so on. We didn't need them. We were happy to have millions in dire poverty, ignorance and early death. That's the way it was fewer than 100 years ago. Still is in many places. Go live in India for a while, like I did.

And, now, I desist from further politick'n. We Senators just can't blather out our true opinions like this.

Alex, the problem with giving everyone the freedom to use any drugs they please is that I then have to foot the bill for their medical care and taking care of their kids.
