t is somewhat confusing because he is also listed as selling over 1 million shares.
However, if you read the footnotes to the sales, those are just shares held by KPCB
clients in his name. KPCB cannot prevent their clients from taking profits in this
controversial company. The actual purchase has no footnote. There are no sales soley in
Doerr's name.

The Yahoo information is often inaccurate. I reall sometime back them stating Baker and Taylor owning 10% of AMZN. I found that to be incorrect. I will find a more reliable source and try to post this weekend. I am not stating the purchase was not made but only that it is possibly inaccurate.
