"the time problem started shortly after Win95 reset time from daylight savings"

I've been reading both the Netscape and Win95 news-groups and a lot of people seem to have had that problem.

>>resetting the clock from Win95

Do you shut your PC down in an orderly way or just turn it
off? If the registry doesn't get saved after Win 95 resets
the clock, it doesn't know it has reset it.

Do you boot more than one DST-aware OS? (Win 95, 98, NT-4)
If so, each one you boot will make its own adjustment.

These don't sound too likely, but you never know.
