The similarities are striking. Netscape was soaring around 180 with absolutely no competition, then a few insiders sold shares and then Microsoft decided to entire their marketspace. Netscape cried "monopoly! unfair competition! federal intervention!" all the way down to the 20 dollar range where it now sits.

Amazon will be no different. William, I believe B&N is doing a very good job of "zeroing out" Amazon's market position.

The dow is starting to pull back.. If we ever have a good down day on the dow (200 points or so) Amazon will be crushed into the ground.

Jay-anyone
I couldn't take it anymore- had to buy some AMZN Nov. 120 puts at $5 a few minutes ago! One day soon I will be sitting in the beautiful 2 story Barnes-Noble store in Naples drinking Mocha's and reading of the AMZN collapse! Wake up people- they have NOTHING to offer but a fancy WEBSITE- competitors will wipe them out- this is merely the first of many blows to come for the hype machine.
