Wow JP, why did you not tell me that you wanted to live on a board that only worships MSFT and closes their eyes to any other threat and competitor around them. I sure hope you are not an investor because your style of understanding the company you invest in leaves a lot to risk investment. "Trust me folks - I'm the greatest company in the world - invest in me...". Why dont you consider going to the MSFT website, they must have MSFT inspirational tapes for sale that you can purchase (of course) which does nothing but tell you MSFT is great messages.... LOL - enjoy your new board. Toy

The truth hurts that much? I like Microsoft. My property has doubled or tripled in value partly due to their great success. The fact remains that their operating systems DO suck. Try Linux or Solaris. You'll come to the same conclusion. Watching NOVL, SUNW and the like will give you a peek into Microsoft's FUTURE. Isn't that what investor's try to do? You're betting real money. There's nothing wrong with making money on a company even if their products suck. They are a marketing MACHINE. It's a great thread. If nothing else ... the banter can be fun. I even get a charge out of ed. The glory days are waning. Did you see IFMX today? Best technology for data warehousing and e-commerce. SUNW? To the moon Alice. There are faster growing companies than MSFT at this point. Best of luck.
