HTO - I got out of NETA (too soon :-( this time) because of the summer slide and the continuing volatility. I'm waiting for the inevitable down turn that it always takes after a run up to get in again. I agree that shorts may have some affect, but have always felt the preponderance of shares being owned by MM's gives some of them an advantage that individual investors don't have when it comes to knowing what is going on with the numbers.

A contact of mine agrees that the sales force is to quote him "organizationally challenged." <gg> Having said that, though, he also says that it is nothing new to NETA and I believe him. The turnover in sales jobs in the computer and software businesses is rivaled only by that of car dealers. I'm not sure it affects McAfee division products as much as it does the TNV lines, and we don't know what the revenue streams are.

BTW - turnover in a perverse way, helps stockholders - the vesting of employee options is more costly downline than it is early on.

I should be very grateful for anything you have. I think it is a function of all the changes in direction resulting from all the acquisitions. It takes a different kind of person to sell a broad range of products (current strategy) to a small territory than it does to sell a narrow range of products to a broad territory.

If you have more, I shall appreciate your input. What do you mean by "decent data"?
