"I get my new PII 450 with 1, 19" monitor and 2 17" ... Chief, you lucky guy! Hope you are on cable to bring out the max. in that set-up. Let us know how it works out.

BTW... is this a tax write off? Or will you have to use CCA and write off over time against any capital gains?

If you are earning income as a result of net hook-up and monthly fee expense, I was advised this would be included in the loss along with any interest paid out on credit lines, etc, but you can only use the capital gain against this. So I presume you can also use new equipment as a capital loss as long as it is being used as a device that is giving you a capital gain.
