Looks like BA has bought back well over 6% of their announced 15% buy back...

Bitting calculates the buyback is going at the rate of $16.857 million a day. "In terms of shares, the announced share repurchase program is approximately 6.7 percent completed. At this pace the program could be completed by year-end 1999."
